Hello All,

Drupal 7's end-of-life is scheduled for November 28, 2022. At that time the Drupal Security Team will cease all security coverage for Drupal 7, and as such Internet Design Alliance will also cease support of Drupal 7 to maintain the safety and security of everyone's sites and servers. [1]

To make time for the transitions of everyone’s websites off of Drupal 7, new enhancement requests related to Drupal 7 will be closing on November 22, 2021.

Note: All existing, in queue, enhancement requests will be processed in the order received.

Please take the time between now and the enhancement closing window to both A) identify any new enhancement requests you may wish to submit and B) review your existing enhancement requests that you may wish to either change or cancel.

If you wish help with reviewing enhancement projects or calculating enhancement projects cost benefit analysis, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

As always, you the customer comes first, so if you truly need something in the next year, contact me so we can figure out the best options for you.

As with the end-of-life of Drupal 6, in rare cases and at client's request, IDA will migrate your D7 site to a standalone server/VPS. IDA does not encourage this as it increases the client's billing by ~$100 to ~$300+ per month.
